I originally trained in Theatre at Goldsmiths' College, University of London, and worked as a lighting and special effects designer, including projects for Walt Disney Imagineering in Paris, Futurist Ride & Show in Japan, SpectraF/X in California, the San Francisco Opera, the Edinburgh Festival, London's Imperial War Museum, and numerous theatre productions.

Since 2013, I have worked full-time as a fine artist, primarily creating abstract expressionist pieces in oil pastel, although I also work with collage and mixed media. I am synaesthesic and much of my work is driven by my multisensorial experience of music, sound and silence, but I also create work in response to personal experiences and memories, evocative places, news stories which pique my interest and my personal politics. I fulfil commissions and I am particularly interested in site-responsive work.

In 2015, in response to numerous requests by collectors, I began digitally printing my work on to luxury grade silk chiffon, and am now able to offer for sale silk scarves and ties in strictly limited editions of 100. I will be launching a new collection twice a year from 2015, available direct from me or by mail order here.

You can find a brief resume of previous projects here and a summary of 2015 events here.
