I trained at Goldsmiths College and my early career was as a lighting and special effects designer, working for, among others, Walt Disney Imagineering in Paris, Futurist in Japan, Spectra FX in California, the San Francisco Opera, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Imperial War Museum, and numerous West End, touring and fringe productions.

Since 2013, I have worked primarily in the field of fine art, as a practitioner, curator, writer and facilitator of art residencies. I also design textiles, for which I was LEAP Entrereneurship Award nominee in 2015, and work as a photographer. From 2016 to 2019, I was Artistic Director of Martyrs’ Gallery and Project Space in Lewes, East Sussex, where I commissioned and created nearly thirty exhibitions and facilitated residencies for thirteen emerging artists. I am also the Founder and Director of the Feibusch Progress Project, a registered charity that exists to salvage and conserve Hans Feibusch’s wartime mural, Pilgrim’s Progress.

From 2020, I will be combining my art and curating practice with running Twenty Twenty Books, a small independent arts press.
